Hi Paul,
For the VHF bands, additional hardware is required.

A basic implementation is shown in the attached link, consisting of an NE602 mixer IC and an SI5351 frequency synthesiser IC.

There will probably be add-on PCBs made in the future with this circuitry and I suspect future ATS25 models will appear with the hardware built in.

That's very helpful thanks. I will keep my ear to the ground for any hardware updates!
I am very impressed with this little machine and yesterday it even had an over the air update.
