Hi,
In CB mode it allows you to select NFM.

Hi,
For general interest, do you have a proposed block diagram for using the add-on mixer with the ATS25-AMP or is it assumed that the connections are made directly to the SI4732 inputs, bypassing the ATS25-AMP filters and LNA?

The GPO1 and GPO2 control signals on the ATS25-AMP are used as previously discussed for the FILTER and AM/FM selection.

In the mixer example diagram:
GPO1 ‘0’ = FM, ‘1’ = AM)
GPO2 ‘0’ = Mixer bypass, ‘1’ = Mixer enabled

Obviously with the added I2C port expander, ports could then be assigned as required for the mixer selection and/or additional filters. I assume the use of the I2C ports will be configured in the setting.ini file.

G8PTN, Yes, GPO2 will have to be freed up for the mixer. Filters are planned to be controlled in the future using a port extender. There is no concept yet of how this will be configured in the firmware. In any case, it will be in version 4.21

Thanks for the response.
- Is this the same for the ATS25 Max Decoder II?
- What switch in the setting.ini enables the mixer features (mixerCLK)?
- Can the mixer feature be enabled without changing the ATS25-AMP GPO1/GPO2 use, assuming external switching will be used?

G8PTN, The mixer will always be controlled using GPO2. To modify the ATS25AMP receiver, in order to connect the mixer and control it from the firmware, you will have to redo the filter control and release the GPO2 or use the switch.
