I've been experimenting with SSB modulation on my ATS-25 using an Arduino-based system (HARDINO). However, I’ve noticed that even when my bandwidth is set to 4000 Hz, the signal still isn't wide enough for clear audio.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
Increased Bandwidth to 4000 Hz → No significant improvement.
Checked Sampling Rate → Using [mention your sample rate], but still seems limited.
Filtered Signal with Hilbert Transform → May need adjustments for better IQ balance.
Possible Solutions:
Increase ADC/DAC Sampling Rate to improve resolution.
Optimize DSP Filtering for better phase shifts in the IQ signal.
Use a Faster Microcontroller (ESP32/Teensy) to handle SSB more efficiently.
Adjust the SSB Generation Method (phasing method vs. direct synthesis).
Has anyone else encountered this issue? What modifications did you use to get a cleaner, wider SSB signal on the ATS-25?
